Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE color leak isn’t exactly black and white

Samsung currently has a lot on its hands, from rolling out the One UI 7 update to conducting beta tests of One UI 8. On the hardware scheme of things, it also has its hands full preparing for next month’s Unpacked event, which will see the company announcing its first-ever ‘FE’ branded flip phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, along with Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7.

We have known quite a lot about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE for months, including its specifications and what it might look like, as is often the case with every flagship category phone before release. But now that we’re only a month away from their official announcement, we’re finally getting to know what previous leaks didn’t reveal about the foldable phone: the color options.

Latest Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE leak reveals its color options

The leak comes from famed tipster @MysteryLupin on X (formerly known as Twitter), and as per them, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE might be available in Black and White color options. The leaker doesn’t specifically say which device they’re talking about, other than mentioning that it’s an ‘FE’ branded phone with black and white circle emojis.

Since the next ‘FE’ phone will be a foldable, it’s probably safe to assume that the leaker is talking about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and not the Galaxy S25 FE, which might release later in the year (via Android Headlines). Assuming that it’s the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, the leak doesn’t specifically mention whether the flip phone will be limited to these two color options or whether these two options will be exclusive to purchases from the Samsung website.

While the possibility of Black and White color options being exclusive to the Samsung online store is there, Samsung is unlikely to release many color options like it did in the case of S25. The reason is simple: ‘FE’ phones are designed to be more affordable than the regular models, adding more color options to the lineup can increase the manufacturing complexity, thus raising the price. That said, these are all speculations, and only Samsung knows exactly how many color options the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be available in.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE rumored specifications

Rumor has it that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will feature a 3.4-inch cover screen​​​​​​, a 6.7-inch inner foldable display panel, a dual-camera setup, which might consist of a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide. It’ll reportedly be powered by the Exynos 2400e​​​​​​, which is a scaled-down version of the Exynos 2400, the chipset that you’ll find in the Galaxy S24 handsets in select markets.
