Summary

  • The Pixel 10 series is rumored to debut on August 13, 2025, with pre-orders starting the same day.
  • The design of the Pixel 10 won’t change significantly, but it will feature a TSMC-made Tensor G5 chipset for better performance.
  • Some Pixel Superfans speculated about a June 27 event showcasing the Pixel 10, but the series is likely to debut in about two months.

It’s been over nine months since the Pixel 9 series was unveiled, and naturally, Pixel 10 leaks are starting to pick up. We’ve already seen first looks at the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, the new wallpapers, ringtones and system sounds, and even seen the phone appear in an ad shoot. Some new leaks now point to when the Pixel 10 phones could actually arrive.

According to X leaker Arsène Lupin, who accurately shared Pixel 9 renders and the global models of the OnePlus 13 earlier this year, the Pixel 10 series will debut on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. If it rings any bells, it’s the same date Google released the Pixel 9 series last year.

Interestingly, the publication Android Headlines also shared a report confirming the same August 13 date, making us believe the rumors are true since they come from two different sources. The report from Android Headlines, however, also adds that Pixel 10 pre-orders will open the same day as the announcement, but devices will begin shipping a week later on August 20, 2025, which is a pretty standard procedure for most smartphone brands.

Two leaks just gave away the Pixel 10 series launch date

This may be bad news for those expecting Google to showcase the devices later this month. Google sent invites to Pixel Superfans last week for a closed-door event showcasing “upcoming devices” on June 27, with some speculating it would be the Pixel 10, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The Pixel 10 series will likely debut in about two months.

As for the upgrades expected on the Pixel 10 series, it won’t bring a major design change compared to the Pixel 9 series, sticking to the flat-edge design language with a protruding camera module. The biggest upgrade is expected to be the shift to the TSMC-made Tensor G5 chipset, which should bring improved performance and better efficiency that Pixel fans have long asked for.

The Pixel 10 could also gain a telephoto sensor this time, which might not stay exclusive to the Pro models anymore. With just a couple of months left, we expect more information on the Pixel 10 series to follow.
